Move

This week has been hectic! The contract of my shared student flat had finally come to an end and so my next step was to move in with my lovely fiancé Dot! Our new place is much larger than the last and is more central in town. We had fears of the street being too noisy but so far nothing has bothered us. Our flat sits high above the Aberystwyth highstreet which offers excellent people-watching prospects as well as watching the strange things that birds get up to! Looking out of our bedroom window that faces the back, one can imagine how it might have looked before everyone decided to make extensions into the courtyard. Did businesses previously use this area for deliveries, or maybe it consisted of small allotments? I likely won’t find out, but the imagination is inspired and that’s good enough for me!

I have yet to start painting again in the new flat as things have been all over the place! I’m sure Dot and I will soon settle in and get to work again.
